This Competition runs on 5FM from 1-5 February 2021
The Competition is open to persons over 18 who own a car. Entrants may be Discovery Insure Policyholders and non-Discovery Insure Policyholders (“Entrant/s”)
To enter, listeners must enter their details on the Discovery Insure Cash Counter Competition Page on 5fm.co.za
Finalists will be randomly selected from all online entries received.
Finalists will be called live on The Roger Goode Show and 5Drive, from Monday 1 February to Friday, 5 February 2021.
Finalists will be asked to call out as many numbers between 1 and 50 as they can in 60 seconds.
Each number will have a corresponding randomised Rand Amount.
Total prize value will be awarded based on the value of the numbers the finalist selected in the allocated 60 seconds.
In order to qualify for an additional R3 000, Finalists must click the “Get a Quote” button on the Competition page within 24 (twenty-four) hours of entering the Competition and get a Car Insurance Quote. They do not have to accept the Quote.
Finalists who are existing Discovery Insure Clients, will automatically qualify for the additional R3 000
This will be validated by Discovery Insure.
If the Finalist has not received a Car Insurance Quote or is not an existing Discovery Insure Client, then the additional R3 000 is forfeited.
The judges’ decision is final, and no further correspondence will be entered into.
The prize is not negotiable, and not transferrable
5FM and Discovery Insure will not be held liable for entries not received for any reason whatsoever and will not be responsible for network connectivity or hardware issues experienced while participating.
A Finalist will not be able to win this Competition if they have won a prize on 5FM within the past 90 (ninety) days, whether on-air, online or via any of the station’s social platforms.
If a winner chosen does not comply with the above terms and conditions, their entry will be disqualified, and a new winner will be randomly selected.
If a winner cannot be successfully contacted, is ineligible to accept the prize, or contravenes the terms and conditions of this Competition the prize will be forfeited.
5FM reserves the right to cancel or amend the Competition and these terms and conditions without notice.
Employees of Discovery, SABC and their immediate family and friends, are not permitted to enter the Competition.
By entering this Competition, an Entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
Neither Discovery Insure (including any member of the Discovery group of companies) nor 5FM will be responsible for any costs that the winners may experience in claiming their prizes
Entrants and winners may be requested to have their details and photographs, or images taken and used, which request they may refuse.
We will share the information that you provide to us with Discovery Insure for purposes of the competition and Discovery Insure will use and process it in accordance with their privacy statement available at https://www.discovery.co.za/corporate/terms-and-conditions/, Section B. You may write to them at privacy@discovery.co.za should you have any questions or concerns regarding how they will use your personal information.
Discovery Insure has the right to terminate this Competition at any time and without notifying Entrants. Discovery Insure also has the right to extend or shorten the duration of this Competition in its sole discretion. In this case, Entrants will have no claim against Discovery Insure or any entity of the Discovery group of companies because of such a termination, extension or shortening.
Neither Discovery Insure nor any member of the Discovery group of companies (including their employees, directors, agents, suppliers and subcontractors) will be responsible for any loss, claim, damage, injury or death that is caused by participation, acceptance or use of any prize in relation to this Competition.
